The ultra low cost price for a Smartphone could well attract some good numbers, considering the company has a strong retail presence in small towns and cities in India.
The dual-SIM Aqua G2 is a ultra-compact Smartphone with a 2.8-inch TFT display. It is powered by a single-core processor with a 256MB RAM, 512MB of internal storage with an microSD card slot to add up to 16GB of RAM and runs on Android Jellybean 4.4.2 It houses a 1100mAh battery which the company claims would give 5 hours of talk time and a 5-6 days of standby. The phone also features a VGA camera with a single LED camera and a VGA camera for selfies. The specs might be mediocre but then at this cost, the whole idea is to woo the feature phone users and first time mobile users on a tight budget to experience the Smartphone and give a taste of Android.
