LG finally outs Google Nexus 4 in India, priced at Rs 25,999

Just when we though 4 would never make an official appearance in India just like Nexus 3, LG officially launched the much anticipated Google Nexus 4 here.


Google Nexus devices has a tremendous fan following being a flagship device with stock android OS made under direct supervision of Google. For each Nexus device Google chooses different partners. Nexus 3 was co-branded with Samsung while the current Nexus 4 is made by LG. The main interests for Nexus device is due to the fact these devices gets the first taste of official roll out of  all Android updates from Google.

So not surprisingly Nexus 4 comes with the very latest version of Android Jelly Bean currently i.e version 4.2.2 and packs a snappy Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 Pro processor,  2GB RAM all in a device with a 4.7inch True HD IPS Plus display. The 1280by768 pixel resolution stacks up 320 ppi.

Nexus 4 camera fits in a 8 MP snapper on the rear that is capable of recording full HD 1080p video.and a 1.3 MP front camera capable of 720p HD video. Nexus 4 comes with a much talked about photo sphere feature. This new feature that is part of Android 4.2 allows users to snap pictures in every direction and the software automatically stitches them together to give a 360-degree shot experience.

Google Nexus 4 also features Android Beam which works on Near Field Communication technology and helps in sharing images, videos, contacts, apps and other content with a gentle tap over another NFC enabled device. It also has wireless charging capabilities.

LG’s Nexus 4 is priced at Rs 25, 999.
