Rapoo M10 Wireless Mouse Review

I prefer wireless gadgets and I like my workspace wire-free as much as possible. Wireless gadgets/peripherals also makes life easier while traveling. Rapoo, the Chinese peripheral makers believe in making only wireless accessories and we have today Rapoo M10 wireless optical mouse at our review desk. The M10 is a basic wireless optical mouse and has a decent form factor and a size that is neither small nor large. It works on wireless 2.4GHz frequency and can be paired to laptops, PC, tablets via a nano receiver that plugs into the USB port of the computing device.       Rapoo-M10 The box contents is pretty basic containing a manual sheet, a nano receiver and the mouse itself. Rapoo-M10-box-contents TheM10 is available in fashionable color choices though the one we got at our review desk is neutral black. Rapoo-M10-Colors The mouse sports a decent ergonomic factor and a flowing design highlighted by a glossy black trim along the edges and on top. I pretty liked the matte finish that does not gather dust and finger prints. M10-side-profile The scroll wheel is quiet ‘plasticky’ and feels a bit cheap. Its a two-directional wheel but while working it does its job as expected. Rapoo-M10-scroll-wheel On the rear there is a power on/off button and then there is a slot to secure the nano receive when in use. A little below that there is an optical tracker that does not emit any light when in use. Rapoo-M10-Rear The nano receiver being a tiny piece there are chance that one can misplace it. So the holder is quiet handy to secure it when not in use and traveling. Rapoo-M10-rear-USB A single AA battery powers the mouse and the company claims a battery life of 9 months. Rapoo-M10-battery Frankly there is nothing much to talk about the M10 wireless mouse. It performs the action it is supposed to do diligently. The wireless transmission is quiet good. The ergonomics are pretty neat. Priced at MRP of Rs 889, you won’t be disappointed if you intend to pick a basic wireless optical mouse. The nano receiver slot at the rear side gives it the extra brownie points.]]>
