The device is made with aircraft-grade aluminium, and has a slim profile at 7.2mm thickness. On the storage front, it has a 32GB inbuilt memory, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
When Yu brand was launched, the Cyanogen OS was the apple of the eye. While in between, few of the Yu devices also ran stock Android, Yutopia is back running on Cyanogoen OS 12.1, based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The big news of course was Yu’s push into software service by announcing a new product discovery platform, AroundYu which is integrated with Yutopia. If it works well as Rahul spoke on stage, it is promising. Recenty. Yu invested heavily on many services companies and they all converge here. For example. Yutopia comes preloaded with Gaana as the degault music player, apart from music streaming and the users gets unlimited download for six months.
Yutopia also gets a finger scanner positioned on the rear and it can also be used to take selfies. Out of the box, Yu is providing Little bird headset from the House of Marley.
