WickedLeak today announced Wammy Passiona X Android smartphone with a 5-inch display and powered by MediaTek Octo-core processor. The device has a water-resistant coating with an aqua protect technology and the company claims the Wammy Passion X to be the first Super Hydrophobic phone (quiet a fancy description here but I doubt their claim as Moto G uses a similar water-repellant coating)
Talking about the specs, WickedLeak Wammy Passion X features a 5-inch full-HD display with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and is powered by MediaTek MTK6592 Octo-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and has a 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB). The device also slaps a 2,600mAh battery.
Wammy Passion X comes in a Aluminium Magnesium body and houses a 13 megapixel Full HD camera with a F 2.2 apperture and 5cm macro lens.It also sports a 5 mp front cameras, something all selfies would love. The camera also includes software enhancements like Live Photo (Harry potter effect), Motion Capture and Voice Capture.
Aqua Protect technology propped up in 2012 it involves coating the entire phone externals and internals with a very ultra thin water-resistant coating which makes it water-resistant. We have no word on the details on the water-resistance of the water depth it can survive but it should keep it fit on occasional spills and exposure to rain.
WickedLeak Wammy Passion X is priced at Rs 22,500 and retail via WickedLeak’s website.
