Samsung has taken the covers of their third generation 7-inch Android tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The latest update shaves off the bezel a bit to give a sleeker look compared to its predecessor.
The 7-inch tablet with a 1024 x 600 LCD TFT display runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM. There is a choice of 8/16GB of internal storage memory which can be scaled up to 64 GB via microSD card. A 3-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3 megapixel on the front make up for the camera specs.
Galaxy Tab 3 would be available in WiFi-only and WiFi + 3G variants. Both the models measures upto 111.1 x 188.0 x 9.9mm and tthe WiFi variant weighs 302 gms, while the 3G variant is few gms heavier at 306 gms.

The global roll-out of Wi-Fi version of the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will begin in May, and the 3G version will follow in June.
