The world’s first Windows OS phablet, Nokia Lumia 1520 makes its entry into Indian market today with a price tag of Rs 46,999. Unveiled last October in Nokia World 2013 Event at Abu dhabi, Lumia 1520 features a massive 6-inch 1080p ClearBack full HD display.


Lumia 1520 runs on Windows Phone 8 with Lumia Black update and making good use of the huge display size, Microsoft has added a third new column of tiles on the homescreen. On hardware specs too Lumia 1520 is a powerhouse. It packs a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory that can be further boosted to 64GB using microSD card slot. Need still more space? A 7GB of free Skydrive space is also on offer. A 3,400 mAh battery is good enough for 25.1 hours of talktime and 32 days on standby mode according to Company sources.

In terms of camera specs, Lumia 1520 features a 20-megapixel PureView camera with dual LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Nokia camera app. For the selfies, there is a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC, and the device also supports wireless charging. The device is available in yellow, white,black and glossy red color variants. Nokia is also offering CP623, a protective case for Lumia 1520 for Rs 2,999
