Micromax quietly launches Micromax A89 Ninja, a 4-inch Android smartphone

Micromax, which recently launched its first quad-core smartphone, Canvas HD at a very attractive price tag quietly launched yet another budget smartphone, Micromax A89 Ninja.

The latest to join the fast growing Micromax’s smartphone portfolio, A90 Ninja is listed is in online shopping portals for Rs. 6,249

Micromax A89 Ninja is armed with a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor paired with a 512 MB of RAM. The 4-inch screen with WVGA display has a resolution of 400 * 800. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes pre-loaded with apps such as Hook up,M! live,M! store,M! Zone+, Fruit devil and Darkman which are now standard with all the Micromax smartphones.

A90 Ninja’s camera eye is a 3 megapixel on the rear and no front camera. It also lacks auto-focus and does not come with a LED flash. The video recording has a  resolution of  640*480Rec while it is capable of a 1280*720 video playback.

The budget smartphone comes with a 2 GB internal storage, which can be expanded to upto 32 GB through a microSD card.

It bundles a 1450 mAh battery, which Micromax claims will deliver four hours of talktime and 170 hours of standby time.

What might click for  Micromax A89 Ninja is yet again a very competitive pricing, at Rs.6,249 there just might be enough buyers for the latest budget smartphone.
