LeEco likes grandeur. Apparently the company that is quiet new to the Smartphone world likes to think big and do big. In an event in China today, they launched not one but three Smartphones – LeCo Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 and in a surprise but bold move, they entirely did away with the familiar 3.5 mm audio jack and instead opted for the industry-first USB Type – C audio port. We did hear rumors of Apple skipping the 3.5mm audio jack in their next iPhone but LeEco is in no mood to wait till then and get labelled as copycat. The company says their new Smartphones would feature CDLA (Continual Digital Loseless Audio) technology to offer high-quality uncompressed audio.
All the three phones are clad in metal body, features finger print scanner and runs on LeEco’s own EUI 5.8 over Android Marshmallow 6.0.
