iRevo SmartTV and SmartPC Launched in India

iRevo Multimedia, an Indian promoted Sillicon Valley based company is firmly looking at the Indian shores and has launched two of its new products in India – iRevo SmartTV and iRevo SmartPC.  Both the products are already available on Amazon India website and the company plans to make it available on other popular e-commerce sites in coming weeks and also hit the shelves of the brick and motor stores as well.

If you have a regular TV, the iRevo SmartTV box can convert it into an Smart TV. Interested? Read ahead. iRevo SmartTV is basically a kind of Android box powered by iRevo’s unique cloud-based application delivery platform and enhanced by iRevo Apps to convert your normal idiot box into an internet TV. The iRevo Cloud Platform pulls content from various content providers and serves you in a easy to access curated format, there is also an extensive on-demand content, being an Android platform running on Android 4.4, you can access various apps and games as well on the big screen. Further you can access all the contents on your Smartphone and tablets via PlayCast, iRevo app on your TV. The iReva’s UI has colorful tiles reminding of Windows tiles but an user also can shift to stock Android experience.

iRevo SmartPC converts any monitor including TV screens be it LED, LCD, Plasma or CRT into a starter PC with its main unit that is powered by Android but overlayed by iRevo WebTop. The UI neatly arranges various apps and browser to kickstart the internet experience for the new users. The kit comes with the main solid state drive that powers the screen and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Both devices start at Rs. 7,499 for the 8GB variants, although the SmartTV can be bought with a Nintendo Wii-like ‘Air Mouse’ controller for Rs. 8,499, while the Smart PC also features a 16GB variant, for which the price has not been revealed as yet.
