Just when we almost forgotten them, Meizu officially launched their first Smartphone in India, the Meizu M1 Note at an sweet spot price of Rs 11,999. Back in April, I had attended the Meizu team at Bangalore at an informal meet and had a hands-on the M1 Note and it finally available now in India and the company has partnered with Amazon India for the flash sales of their devices.
The M1 Note features a 5.5-inch display with a narrow bezel and polycarbonate unibody design that comes in attractive colors. The screen has a 1080p resolution and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the device is a 64-bit MediaTek chipset MT6752 octo-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz mated to Mali-T760 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The dual-SIM LTE Smartphone has an unique apple-like button with just one single home button for navigation. The Flyme UI on top of the Android 4.4 has unique interface. On the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel camera with CMOS from Samsung and dual LED flash. On the front there is a 5MP camera and the camera app comes with a sleuth of features.
The M1 Note comes fitted with a 3140mAh battery, which sounds healthy atleast on paper. The M1 Note will be available in Blue and White.
