It just got bigger and better and bigger! Samsung added a new line-up of Galaxy range with super-sized display, Samsung Galaxy Mega. Today the company announced the two devices, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 with a massive screen real estate of 5.8 inch and 6.3 inch respectively.
Galaxy Mega 5.8 specs and features
Galaxy Mega 5.8 (GT-I9152) is a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5.8 inch qHD TFT display with a 960 x 540 screen resolution. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean sugar coated with Samsung’s own Nature UX interface, the device is powered by a dual-core clocked at 1.4 GHz with 1.5 GB of RAM.
Samsung has fitted in a 8 megapixel shooter on the rear and a 2 megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n and A-GPS.
Galaxy Mega 5.8 will pack a 2600 mAh battery and the dimensions would be 162.6 x 82.4 x 9.0 mm and weighing 182 grams.
Galaxy Mega 6.3 specs and features
The super-sized phone with an eye-popping and palm stretching 6.3 inch PLS HD display is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and a 1.5 GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsunng’s own Nature UX 2.0 treatment.
The camera specs is similar to Galaxy Mega 5.3 with a 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. A bigger 3200 mAh battery is also slotted in. Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n and A-GPS finds mentions here too. The device has a dimension of the dimensions are 167.6 x 88 x 8.0 mm and weighs 199 gms.
