The Chinese Smartphone maker, Phicomm has launched their second phone for the Indian market and this one, the Energy 653 is a 4G Smartphone aggressively priced at sub-5K segment. The specs of the Smartphone reads this. A 5-inch display with a 720p resolution, the Phicomm Energy 653 is powered by 1.1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage and houses a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 64GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Expect 5.0 UI The Phicomm Energy 653 supports both 1800MHz (Band 3) and 2300MHz (Band 40) LTE bands used by telcos to provide 4G services in India. On the camera department, the budget 4G device comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.4 aperture lens and backside illumination sensor. It can shoot video at 720p. A 2-megapixel front camera is capable of HD video recording. The dual-SIM Energy 653 is equipped with a 2300mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the Phicomm Energy 653, apart from 4G, offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It measures 8mm and will be available in white and black colors. The Energy 653 goes on sale on Amazon India from August 11.
