LG Optimus G features a 4.7 inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolutions. It packs in a healthy 318 ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm MDM9615/APQ8064 processor mated to a Adreno 320 GPU and a 2 GB RAM. Quiet a good hardware specs inside that juice up heavy apps. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. It has a 13 MP camera, though some markets could see a 8 MP variant at the rear with autofocus and LED flash and features like Geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization. It also has a video shooting capabilities that can shoot 1080p @ 30fps and also has LED video light for effective video capture. The front shooter is a 1.3 MP camera for video calling and self shoots. Since most of the rival models are at 8 MP shooter specs, LG can boast of the 13 MP camera as one of its main highlight (but hey Sony is on its heels with its Xperia Z with its 13 MP shooter!) Optimus G has a 32 GB internal storage but cannot be expanded further. Connectivity features in the device include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. The body of Optimus G is sealed and sitting inside is a non-removable 2100 mAh battery with a standby of 335 hours and 15 hours talk time.
