Gionee had added another budget smartphone to its portfolio – the Pioneer P3S. Priced at Rs 5,999, the handset will go on sale in India this week. The P3S is essentially an upgrade over the Pioneer P3, which was launched in December 2013 and the new model beefs up on the screen size, RAM and storage capacity. The Pioneer P3S is a compact Smartphone with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (854×480 pixels resolution). It is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor, Mali-T400 GPU and 1GB RAM. While the processor is the same as the P3, the RAM is doubled here. A 16GB of internal storage is included with an option for microSD card. The P3S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 launcher, the device is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. On the camera side, it includes a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. Definitely, the selfie crowd are going to be disinterested here. The connectivity options other than the 3G includes Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. Gionee P3S is available in White, Grey, Red and Golden color and is priced at MOP Rs 5,999.]]>
