Chinese Smartphone manufacturer CoolPad has just made owning a Smartphone with fingerprint scanner more affordable with the launch of CoolPad Note 3 at Rs 8,999. The new device will be Amazon exclusive and the first sale is on October 20, 2pm and the registration begins today. Talking about specs, the Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with a HD (1280×720) pixel resolution. The display offers a viewing angle up to 178 degrees. Powering the device is a 64-bit 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). The Cool Pad Note 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI on top of it. The UI features multi-window mode, double tap to wake up and smart gestures. Talking about the finger-print sensor, the company says it supports 360-degree finger rotation and takes just half a second for recognition. Further you can customize different fingers to fire a particular app like forefinger to open camera. Coolpad is also outing the UI features lke multi-window mode, double tap wake up, and smart gesture. It is worth noting that the Coolpad Note 3 is probably the only Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone to feature 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor under Rs. 10,000. On the photography front, the Note 3 is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and includes a 5 element HD lens setup. The front fits a 5-megapixel camera. Both the cameras also come with a CMOS image sensor. A 3000mAh battery is included. Other sensors included are compass, gravity, proximity, ambient light, and gyroscope.]]>
