Back in February, Lenovo launched the Vibe Z K910, their flagship device in Indian market and it ran on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Since then the Chinese company has been releasing minor updates but the users were awaiting the big release – the Android KitKat, the current flavour of Android OS. The good news is the company has started rolling out the Kitkat update over-the-air and is quiet a huge one – all of 1.21 GB. I got the notification last week itself on my device but since I was traveling and didn’t get WiFi access constantly, I just managed yesterday to download the firmware update. An 1.21 GB update is one massive update and the initial impression proves it. Most notable is that the device is more butter smooth now and the refreshing, bright visual theme it wears after the update. There are other goodies too, I will do a detailed post on the new tweaks shortly. Also read: Vibe Z Review]]>
