Last month Samsung announced the 8-inch and 10.1 inch variants of its Android tablets in the Galaxy tab series to join the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 announced back in April this year.
Today the Korean announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 series will be unveiled in a launch event at New Delhi tomorrow. In fact the company’s official twitter account send out a teaser on the arrival of the Tab 3 series.
Though there are three variants in the Tab 3 series, seems like the 10.1 variant, the biggest one might take some time more to hit the Indian market. Samsung India e-store lists only the 7 and 8 inch variants as of now.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with a a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) display and is powered by a dual-cor processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM.
Other features includes a 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 8GB of expandable internal storage, 4,000mAh battery and it will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 features a 1.5 GHz Exynos dual-core processor, WXGA TFT 1280 x 800 (189 PPI) display, 1.5GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 4,450 mAh battery, and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
About the pricing and other details, we will update you tomorrow though some reports suggest the 7-inch variant could be priced around 12,ooo and the Tab 3 8.0 at 18,000.
