This one has a powerbank under its hood. We are talking of the newly launched Gionee Marathon M5 that comes with a battery that simply lives longer and longer. The Marathon series of the Gionee comes with a big backpack of battery with the the earlier M3 featuring a 5000mAh battery but its successor, the M5 (don’t ask me what happened to M4!) features a dual battery within and each one with a 3,010mAh adding up to 6,020mAh in total. The device comes with a dual-charging ports for fast charging. With reverse charging supported, the M5 can be used as a powerbank to charge two other devices at the same time. Be a battery donor! Gionee says that in the extreme power saving mode, the M5 has a standby of up to 62hours even with only 5% battery juice left in the device. Phew! this one is a real survivor. Battery aside, the other specs puts the dual-LTE Smartphone in the mid-range segment with a 5.5inch HD AMOLED display, 720p resolution, a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by means of the microSD slot.
