Slowly and steadily Windows Phone store is seeing the arrival of the popular apps and the latest to join the list is Twitter owned Vine app which allows for recording 6-second videos to the Vine community and share it over Twitter and Facebook. Twitter’s Vine app is now officially available for Windows Phone 8 users and makes good use of Windows Phone OS’s Live Tile and Windows Lens Camera features. Looking largely the same as the existing iOS and Android versions, it incorporates all the basic features but still lacks some of the recent updates the rival platforms has seen. What is interesting with the Vine app for WP is the ability to pin a vine and also pin individual friends on the starts screen which would appeal to avid Vine users. There is even a mute toggle in the setting to prevent the sound automatically playing with the Vine videos. The Vine app also brings a live tile support and users can connect to vine from within the camera itself. On the lack of features list, there is lack of pause/resume while recording for multiple sessions. So you have to simply shoot and then process straight forward.
