The Microsoft Lumia 540 features a 5-inch HD display with ClearBlack technology and a 720p resolution. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of storage which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card. The 540 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS which is upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile OS. Microsoft has also preinstalled Skype and Office on the device. On the camera side, it comes with a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera for the selfie enthusiasts. On the connectivity front, you will get Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi, GPS, 3G support and so on. A 2200mAh battery will be powering the device. Microsoft also offers 30GB of cloud storage.
