Eureka Forbes has expanded its Aeroguard air purifier line-up in India with six new models, announced on October 26. The company quotes prices between Rs 4,299 and Rs 19,999 and coverage for rooms from 175 sq. ft. to 440 sq. ft., with the launch arriving just as air quality starts its seasonal slide in many Indian cities.
According to the company, the six models are designed for different room sizes and household needs, from compact units aimed at bedrooms and study areas to larger, Wi-Fi-enabled models for living rooms. Together with the existing Forbes range, the company says its air purifier portfolio now covers homes of up to 670 sq. ft.
The company says the new purifiers use what it calls Surround 360-degree Air Intake, drawing air in from multiple directions, and a filtration stack with three main stages: a pre-filter that traps dust and pet hair, a True HEPA H13 filter, and an activated carbon filter for odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It claims the H13 filter removes 99.97 percent of PM 2.5, smoke, dust, allergens, bacteria, pollen and pet dander.
Select models add a washable pre-filter, an ioniser, a high-carbon granule filter aimed at cooking smells and smoke, and what the company calls 2X Filtration, with H13 filters on both sides of the unit.
On the smart side, select models offer Wi-Fi app control, so users can check air quality, change settings and schedule purification from a phone. Depending on the model, the range also offers a PM 2.5 display with a colour indicator, Auto Mode, a Sleep Mode that dims the display, Child Lock and an aroma diffuser.
Eureka Forbes claims the new purifiers can clean a room in as little as 10 minutes, though purification time, coverage and features vary by model. Filter life is rated at up to two years, and select models have individually replaceable filter stages, which should help keep running costs down. The company says genuine replacement filters are sold through its website, each unit goes through more than 30 quality and performance tests, and buyers get a two-year product warranty on registration, excluding filters and consumables.
“Poor air is no longer just a Delhi problem in November; it is a year-round, all-India concern,” said Anurag Kumar, Chief Growth Officer, Eureka Forbes Limited. “Families want clean air fast, they want to see the difference, and they want it to stay affordable.”
The new Aeroguard models are available nationwide through national and regional retail chains, Amazon, Flipkart, Eureka Forbes’ own online store and select quick-commerce platforms, with prices starting at Rs 4,299, according to the company. Availability may vary by channel.
Eureka Forbes has not shared model-wise names or individual pricing for the six models yet; we will add those details when they are available.
