Lava Mobile expanded it’s Q series in Xolo branding with Xolo Q600, a sub-10k smartphone with quad-core processor and priced at Rs. 8,999
A dual SIM phone with a 4.5 inch TFT FWVGA display with a 480×854 pixels resolution translating into a 217 ppi, Xolo Q600 runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The internals consists of a 1.2GHz quad-core MTK ARM Cortex-A7 processor with Power VR SGX544 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The Q600 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA camera on the front for video calling and self-shots. It supports HD video playback at 720p at 30 frames per second.
The phone has a 4 GB internal storage which can be stacked up to 32 GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
The battery scale reads 2000 mAh that the company claims to offer up to 13.4 hours of talktime on 2G and up to 10 hours of talktime on 3G and a 333 hours of standby.
The Xolo Q600 is available for Rs 8,999 (151 US $) beginning today.
