Fancy a new pair of headphones? A good bass is your liking? For just under 1K, you get a smart and a fairly good looking in-ear headphones, thanks to the wood-finish, in Tekfusion Ecoofer. Available in two editions – Ebony and Bamboo, Ecoofers oozes a premium classic look thanks to the metal-wood chassis.
What arrived at our review desk is the Ebony edition with black trim which is to my personal liking when compared to the other slightly lighter hued Bamboo edition with brown trim.
The choice of metal and wooden built and Tekfusion claims of hand-crafted design of the in-earphone design gives the product an edge over others in the segment in looks department. After all not many provide a woody pair of in-ear bullets at this price point.
There is a single vent on the outer side of the earphone making way for the bass port.
Performance of Tekfusion Ecoofers:
Hidden inside the wooden and metal cocoon is a 10mm driver aided by neodymium magnets for audio reproduction. Now coming to the performance, for the money you invest Ecoofers delivers a fairly balanced performance with agile, controlled treble and the kind of rich bass that adds fullness to the vocals and not overpowering the lower and mid-notes. Though at few instances I wish the bass were a bit more pronounced but then I am bit lenient to more of bass. To its credit, Ecoofers delivers a detailed audio with decent separation and clarity at this price point. What is good
- Natural wood and bamboo finish
- Decently good audio reproduction
- good clarity
What is bad
- Really nothing much to pin point
