It recognizes the best devices, manufactures, service providers in various categories. Ofcourse, the most looked forward categories in the awards are the 'Best smartphone' and 'Best tablet' and 'Best Manufacturer of the year'.

Samsung swept the awards in mobile section last year and the company got the real boost with Galaxy S2 awarded as the &#8216;Best smartphone of the year 2012&#8217;. True to its market dominance, Samsung again swept the awards this year and bagged in total 5 awards including the prestigious best smartphone award and manufacturer of the year. Yes, Sammy, keep the momentum going!

The new Lenovo tablets are the 7-inch A1000 and A3000 and then there is the 10-inch S6000. The devices best falls under the budget or mid-category segment.
The A1000 tablet has a 7-inch display and powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Targetted at music buffs, the tablet comes with a Dolby Digital Plus audio with a large front speakers. It has an internal storage of 16GB, which can be expanded upto 64 GB through microSD card. The tablet is available in black and white color.

The other 7-inch tablet in the A-series, A3000 also sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. It has a 1024 x 600 IPS display, which could have been bettered. The tablet weighs 340 gms and has a thickness of 11 mm. Unlike the A1000 whose expandable memory is limited to 32 GB, A3000 can go up till 64 GB.

S6000 is the bigger tablet sporting a 10-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1200&#215;800 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek&#8217;s 8389 / 8125 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. The tablet measures 8.6 mm in thickness and weighs 560 gms. With a eight hours of battery life, Lenova positions it as a home-entertainment device.

The leaked images of F series infact began making rounds yesterday, and now emerges the specs and features of atleast two of the many phones LG would out next week.

The phones we are talking are LG Optimus F7 and F5 smartphones.
The Optimus F7 is the bigger cousin amidst the two with a 4.7-inch (312ppi) True HD IPS display, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, an 8-megapixel primary camera, 2GB RAM and a 2,540mAh battery.
The other sibling, Optimus F5 is slightly compact sporting a 4.3-inch (256ppi) IPS display, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, a 5-megapixel primary camera, 1GB RAM and a 2,150mAh battery.
Both the devices run on Android 4.1.2  Jelly Bean and comes with LG&#8217;s QSlide and Live Zooming software features. They also come with a 8GB built-in storage, microSD support and LTE connectivity. The front camera is a a 1.3-megapixel common for both.
The first to hit the European market would be Optimus F5 during the second quarter and followed by Optimus F7 in select<strong></strong>ed market later.
