<a href="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen.jpg" data-rel="lightbox-image-0" data-rl_title="" data-rl_caption="" title=""><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5757" alt="Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen" src="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen.jpg" width="730" height="487" srcset="https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen.jpg 730w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen-300x200.jpg 300w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Galaxy-note-10.1-s-pen-360x240.jpg 360w" sizes="(max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px" /></a>
Specs-wise and features wise the 2014 edition makes a huge leap ahead from the previous generation. What would be interesting for enterprise users will be that the new Note 10.1 comes with enhanced privacy and security protection provided by Samsung KNOX and might be an apt choice for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)
The tablet sports a  10-inch  WQXGA Super clear LCD  display with an eye-popping 2560&#215;1600 resolution and runs on the very latest Android Jelly Bean 4.3. During the global unveiling, Samsung announced the Note 10.1 2014 edition will come in quad-core and octo-core variants. In India, it brings in the oct0-core variant which is in reality 1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad processor put together. There is also a 3G RAM. The internal storage includes 16GB which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot. The device also gets a beefed up 8220mAh battery.
The functionality of the S-Pen, the main talking point of the Note devices has also been enhanced on the lines of Note 3 Smartphone and features functions like Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder.
Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct and AllShareCast, as well as 3G/ LTE as indicated earlier. Available in Jet Black and Classic White colors, the table will be available in three connectivity options in India: Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi and 3G, Wi-Fi and LTE.
