A successor to  Meizu m1 note, the M2 Note will again be an Amazon exclusive and will go on sale starting August 10. The M2 Note was first launched in China in June and is an moderate upgrade to the M1 Note.

The M2 Note boasts of a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and thus joining the K3 Note and Yureka Plus in bringing the 1080p affordable within the sub-10K price band. Powering the M2 Note is a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB RAM. A 16GB internal storage can be expanded via microSD card and it runs on Flyme 4.5 OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. A 3100mAh battery is housed inside.

<div class="text-column" data-twttr-id="twttr-sandbox-0">On the camera side, it features a 130megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 lens and dual-tone LED flash and the front camera comprises of a 5-megapixel f/2.0 wide-angle lens setup. The M2 Note is a dual-SIM Smartphone that supports 4G / LTE.
Outwardly, it looks like a good alternate to the K3 Note and Yureka Plus but then we will see if we can grab a device and ascertain its goodness.</div>

Back in April, I had attended the Meizu team at Bangalore at an informal meet and had a hands-on the M1 Note and it finally available now in India and the company has partnered with Amazon India for the flash sales of their devices.

The M1 Note features a 5.5-inch display with a narrow bezel and polycarbonate unibody design that comes in attractive colors. The screen has a 1080p resolution and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the device is a 64-bit MediaTek chipset MT6752 octo-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz mated to Mali-T760 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The dual-SIM LTE Smartphone has an unique apple-like button with just one single home button for navigation. The Flyme UI on top of the Android 4.4 has unique interface. On the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel camera with CMOS from Samsung and dual LED flash. On the front there is a 5MP camera and the camera app comes with a sleuth of features.
The M1 Note comes fitted with a 3140mAh battery, which sounds healthy atleast on paper. The M1 Note will be available in Blue and White.
