Lenovo P series is for those power users who would want a good battery life in their phones. Last year they launched the P1 and P1m with 4900mAh and 3900mAh batteries respectively and the latest addition to the series is the Lenovo Powerplayer P1 Turbo.
While the previous models at the P series emphasized on the performance and battery, Lenovo has made sure the new P1 Turbo also looks good in the looks department. In tune with the latest trend, the P1 Turbo has a metal and glass design.

The P1 Turbo has a 5.5-inch IPS display offering a full HD resolution, the company says they have introduced an Assertive display technology that provides a better readability under sunlight. It is powered by a 64-bit, 1.5GHz, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor combined with a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
On the camera side, the P1 Turbo features a 13MP rear camera with fast-focus PDAF and a 5MP front camera with multiple shooting modes and beautification features.
Stressing the importance on the battery life, the P1 Turbo includes a 5000mAh battery and also comes with a proprietary Rocket charging technology and world’s fastest charger. It also covers smart overheat protection and allows 24W charging that can tank the 5000mAh battery to 80 percent level in less than one hour, which is pretty cool.
The P1 Turbo supports Over-the-Go (OTG) and also has NFC. Plus, there is a finger print scanner at the home button. It will be available in two color choices of Platinum silver and Graphite grey.
The phone will be available offline at retail stores and is priced at Rs 17,499.
