Priced at Rs 3,399, the Flair P1 might give a tough competition to the likes of Celkon and Intex who are very active in the sub-5K price segment.
Talking about the specs, the Flair P1 has a 4-inch TFT screen with a W8VGA (480 x 800) display. A modest single-core 1GHz processor mated to Mali 400 GPU, 256MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage finds place. The memory can be expaned via microSD card. There is a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera.

The P1 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and is back by a 1400mAh battery.  the Lava claims the Flair P1 will offer up to 11 hours of talk time on 2G networks and up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G networks The connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. It will be available in two colors, black and white.

Lava Iris Win1 running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS will be available on December 2 and will be exclusively available on e-commerce portal, Flipkart.
The Iris Win1 features a 4-inch with 800&#215;480 pixel resolution and runs on the Snapdragon 200 chip with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The battery is of a 1,950mAh kind and the Windows phone gets a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. It&#8217;s a dual-SIM phone and gets the usual array of connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth etc.
With Microsoft making WP free licence software for devices with less than 8-inch display, we can see more action in Windows phone segment.

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>				<![CDATA[Lava today launched a budget smartphone, Lava Iris 450 Color. The cool thing? You get interchangeable back panel to change the color of your smartphone.
The phone itself comes in Pro black and Ivory white color. When you pick the black phone you can choose between blue and Tan brown coloured back panel. White color Iris 450 Color comes with an option of blue and raspberry pink coloured back panel. There is also a Violet back panel which you can buy off the shelves. The box includes a flipcase of matching color as well as an additional back panel of different color.
Lava Iris 450 Color comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display (854x480 pixels resolution). The device is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the device also has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. The camera features include HDR mode, Burst mode and Panaroma mode. A 1800mAh battery is included.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 7,999 and will soon be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets across India and online stores.

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>				<![CDATA[Lava teased the Iris Pro much beyond the waiting period but finally outed the android smartphone, the first of its premium Iris Pro series. Priced at Rs 15,999, the Lava Iris Pro is sleek and lighter weighing just 114gms and measuring 7.5mm in thickness and uses a magnesium alloy body.

The Iris Pro comes with a 4.7-inch  display made with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and with1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Choosing better component makers for its premium series, the IPS display has been made by Sharp. The display is strengthened with Corning Glass protection. Additionally the device uses a CABC (Content Adaptive backlight control) screen brightness regulation technology to automatically control the screen display brightness. The company says it optimizes the battery life by 30%.
The phone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM and SGX544 GPU. In terms of storage, it features 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the camera front a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera finds place. A  2,000mAh battery is included, which the company claims is good enough for 4.5 hours of talktime and 400 hours on standby mode.
The software features include flip to mute, lift to answer and call, video PIP, sound and shot, voice and face unlocking some of which has become a standard features these days in medium to premium smartphones.
Iris Pro is available in black color with metallic silver color bezel and will be available from the third week of January.
