No denying that HTC makes beautiful phones but struggles in pushing their devices to customers. Still it has not stopped the company for delivering one knock out product after another. After a wow-launch of their latest flagship device, HTC One M8, the company has made available in India HTC Desire 310, a much affordable device for Rs 11,700 but it is available for Rs. 11,350 from various e-commerce sites.
The device was announced earlier this year and made its debut in China, followed by announced of global version in Taiwan last month.
The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) HTC Desire 310 features a 4.5-inch display with a 480x854 resolution. The device is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor put together with a 512MB RAM. There is a 4GB internal storage which can be upped up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, layered by HTC Sense UI 5.1.
On the camera side, Desire 310 gets a 5-megapixel rear camera with fullHD video recording ability and a namesake VGA front camera. (A 0.3-megapixel camera, seriously HTC? in the time of Selfie mania?)
It holds a 2000mAh battery and the connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB, EDGE, GPS, and 3G. Weighing 140grams, it measures 131.44×68.03×11.25mm.
If HTC hopes Desire 310 can take on the poster boy of budget smartphones, Moto G, it can only bank on the good looks as Moto G outstrips Desire 310 in almost all parameters.]]>
