It&#8217;s OnePlus India. The Chinese tech startup today announced its plans to start its first step in localization with partnering with Foxconn to assemble its Smartphones from India. It will make use of the Foxconn&#8217;s Rising Star facility in Siri City in Andhra Pradesh.

<blockquote>Talking about the India move, Peter Lay, Founder and CEO, OnePlus said
“Today is a big day for us. Producing smartphones in India is one of the most important decisions we have made so far at OnePlus, and we are thankful to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Foxconn for helping us make this happen. India being one of our biggest markets worldwide, we are committed to a long-term sustainable growth path. This move will strengthen our presence and help us step up momentum in India,”</blockquote>

OnePlus added that their 30,000 sq ft facility at Foxconn has a peak capacity of 500,000 units a month and will be scalable to meet the local demands. The OnePlus&#8217;s Make In India initiative will also give direct employment to some 1000 people. The first batch of Smartphones will rollout by the end of this year.
</div>

<div></div>

<div>Andhra Pradesh has been aggressive in getting the mobile ecosystem and has already got the head start with the Foxconn facility. “Our dream is to catapult Andhra Pradesh to become one of the hottest destinations for local manufacturing in India, and I believe with brands such as OnePlus joining in, that dream is quickly becoming a reality. The Andhra Pradesh Government assures all cooperation and support to OnePlus to help them cater to the growing demands in the India market.” – Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Honorable Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh.</div>

<div>
Vikas Aggarwal, GM, OnePlus India mentioned the local production might translate to further aggressive pricing of OnePlus devices in the long term. “Local production will not only make our operations more efficient in terms of cost and working capital requirements but also help us in making our products available for sale much faster than ever before.”

<h2 class="clear"><span style="color: #008000;">Front and Back of the device</span></h2>

The lunch box design nano PC hosts a wide range of ports and I/O in the front and back which when connected brings alive the nano PC.
<a href="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070.jpg" data-rel="lightbox-image-0" data-rl_title="" data-rl_caption="" title=""><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2841" alt="DSC_0070" src="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070.jpg" width="900" height="598" srcset="https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070.jpg 900w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070-300x199.jpg 300w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070-768x510.jpg 768w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0070-360x239.jpg 360w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a>
On the front of the Nano PC we have a power button with a warm blue power indicator LED on the top. Just below the power button is a speaker. Down the speaker you find two USB 3.0 ports through which you can connect various external devices like keyboard, mouse, USB printer, USB flash drives and external hard disk drives etc.
Nano PC At-5570 also comes with a multi-function card reader that supports SD/SDHC/MS/MS Pro/MMC memory cards. So you can view your images and videos that you have saved in various card formats of your various devices like mobile phones, digital cameras and other media players.
On the front side, you also have a microphone port and headphone port.
<a href="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091.jpg" data-rel="lightbox-image-1" data-rl_title="" data-rl_caption="" title=""><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2843" alt="DSC_0091" src="http://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091.jpg" width="900" height="598" srcset="https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091.jpg 900w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091-300x199.jpg 300w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091-768x510.jpg 768w, https://techraman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DSC_0091-360x239.jpg 360w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a>
Now let&#8217;s take a look around the back side of the nano PC. Again the device nests a wide array of ports on the back side that includes four USB 2.0 ports for external devices like keyboard, mouse, USB printer, USB flash drives and external hard disk drives etc. Beneath the USB ports you have a DVI port to connect to monitor or TV. The box also comes with a DVI to VGA adaptor to help y0u connect to VGA-compatible devices. Then there is a HDMI port that supports full-HD display devices.
