										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>				<![CDATA[<span class="dropcap">G</span>ionee first announced to the world Elife E8 back in June and it brings its flagship device to India at a price of Rs  34,999. Incidentally, this is the first Gionee smartphone to be exclusively available online and it has chosen Snapdeal as its e-commerce partner. It will go on sale next week on October 12. True to flagship credentials, the Smartphone comes blazing with top notch specs, features and a camera that is a the apple of the eye.
Like the previous Elife E-series, the E8 is also camera-centric. The highlight of the Gionee Elife E8 is its 24-megapixel rear camera that can blow up images up to 120 megapixels in resolution with a nifty software. The camera module has a 6-part lens, a big 1/2.3&#8243; ;ens with f/2.0 aperture and a sapphire glass for the added protection. Gionee also says the E8 can focus within as little as 0.2 seconds and also has optical image stabilization for shake free video capture and better low light performance. There is a dual tone LED flash. It can also shoot lossless zoom at up to 3x, 4K video recording. A dedicated hardware button for camera is aimed at serious mobile photographers. And, then there is a 8-megapixel front camera.
The E8 has a super big display of 6-inchwith a QHD (1440&#215;2560 pixel) Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 490ppi.  Powering the device is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MTK6795) SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM, it comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage with an option to add up to 128 gigs more through a microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with their own Amigo 3.1 UI skin on top of it with some interesting features. The Smartphone is backed by a 3520mAh battery and it supports quick charging. Connectivity options also includes NFC.
The Elife E8 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Amigo 3.1, and is a dual-SIM 4G smartphone. It sports a 6-inch QHD Powered by a  (no details about storage expandability as yet). The smartphone is powered by a 3520mAh battery, and it supports fast charging. The smartphone also has a &#8216;biological&#8217; fingerprint reader on the back panel.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC.

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>				<![CDATA[<span class="dropcap">A</span>t a global event at Beijing, Gionee took the wraps off their next flagship device that has been much talked about of late for its rumoured big camera capabilities. The Elife E8 comes with a 24MP primary camera along with some serious fire power.
Before we delve into the camera, here are the other specs that matters equally important. The dual-SIM Elife E8 is a biggie with a 6-inch AMOLED display with an Quad HD (<span class="st">2560&#215;1440</span>) resolution stacking 490 ppi. The fire power comes from the Mediatek Helio X10 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at up 2GHz,  a PowerVR 6200 GPU and  3GB of RAM. A 64GB of internal storage leaves a plenty of room to fill in.  Then, there is a 3500mAh battery with fast charging mode. The LTE suppoted phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Now the main highlight of the E8, the 24-megapixel rear camera, the max out there amongst all the current flagship devices, discounting the Lumia 1020, which has lost the luster now. Gionee says the software tricks can produce images up to crazy 120-megapixels resolution. The camera setup includes a six-element lens with sapphire glass front element. Gionee says the camera app can open up in less than a second. The camera is capable of 4K recording and Gionee talks about lossless zoom. There is a 8MP front camera with auto-focus.
The Elife E8 comes with fingerprint scanner and other features includes NFC, dual speaker, HIFI sound. The Elife E8 sounds too exciting on paper doesn&#8217;t it? It&#8217;s priced at CNY 3,999 ($645) and will be available from July 15th onwards.
