If you are a serious gamer you would invest on a gaming console. With mobile games becoming more better, Samsung thinks there would be people who would really like to have a gaming pad to compliment their smartphones during game play. So it has launched 'Smartphone GamePad' which is compatible with most of the galaxy devices and can run Android games specially customized for the new mobile console.

It’s an NFC enabled Bluetooth accessory that features a mount for your smartphone and offers dedicated gaming buttons. To give a kick start, Samsung has made available in Samsung App Store a dedicated app called Mobile Console which hosts a selection of Android games that are customized to work perfectly with the GamePad. Currently it lists 35 games for buying across various genres including Need for Speed Most Wanted, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, Virtua Tennis Challenge and Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame among others. Samsung promises more customized games to be added in future.
The GamePad console measures 137.78 x 86.47 x 31.80mm and features a D-Pad, two analog sticks, four action buttons, two trigger buttons and select, start and PLAY buttons. The GamePad is compatible with Galaxy smartphones running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and can support smartphones with display sizes ranging from 4-inches to 6.3-inches. It connects with the compatible devices using Bluetooth 3.0 or NFC.
The company has not disclosed the pricing yet but it would be released first in Europe, followed by other markets.]]>
