Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now official!

an-nyeong-ha-se-yo to the newest addition to the Samsung Galaxy family – Galaxy Note 8 N5100. Ok FYI, an-nyeong-ha-se-yo translates to hello! in Korean. During the previous year WMC, Samsung outed Galaxy Note 10.1, it’s first Galaxy Note series tablet featuring S-Pen. And this year, it introduces the mini-Note tablet that sits between Note 2 smartphone and the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. GALAXY-Note_8 rear side.. Galaxy Note 8 sports a 8 inch WXGA TFT LCD display technology display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 189PPI. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 4 Quad core A9 processor with a 2 GB RAM. Running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, the device ofcourse is overlaid with TouchWiz and further enhanced with S-Pen functionality and its exclusive suite of  apps. The device is wrapped in typical Galaxy dressing of shining plastic body case and it is quiet lean at 7.95mm as well as  light weighing only 338 grams, a tad heavier than iPad mini. It also has a WiFi only version for selected markets including US. On the portrait mode, on the bottom typical of Galaxy smartphones you have the similar home button flanked by two touch buttons. As an add-on feature, Samsung has partnered with Peel to offer Smart Remote App or TV Discovery app that lets one control your TV and entertainment center with the Note 8.0’s IR blaster.  Reading Hub has also been improved or optimized for better reading experience. Note 8 has a sealed rear but then don’t fret you still got a microSD slot and microSIM card on the left side. Note 8 comes with a choice of 16 / 32 GB storage, which can additionally be expanded by upto 64 GB through microSD card. Inside of the tablet is sealed a 4,600mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, WiFi direct, GPRS & Edge Class 12, bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, infrared, USB.
