‘Go Green’ initiative at the on-going New Delhi World Book Fair 2013.
The initiative is aimed at promoting the audiobook habits by increasing the available titles. Reado plans to build its repository with 3600 titles to be available on its website by March end this year. To bring in quality audiobooks, the titles would include best-sellers from leading Indian & global publishing houses such as Penguin Books India, Simon & Schuster audio, Roli, Hachette, Brilliance Audio and Gildan Media.
“Our focus is to introduce as many as 4000 digital titles in the Indian market in partnership with leading publishers from across the globe. We are witnessing tremendous growth in the demand of audiobooks in India. We have sold over 24,000 audiobook CD’s since the last book fair and the market is poised to grow at 50-60% in the FY 2013-2014. The digital downloads on our website have seen a jump of almost 52% in the last quarter. Our ‘Go Green’ themed stall at the World Book Fair will surely be a crowd-puller and boost brand visibility”So what you think about audiobooks? Do you enjoy
