From kickstarter to selling in India, Nextbit has come a long way in a short span. The San Francisco based Nextbit, founded by ex-Googlers, former head of Android business development Tom Moss and former head of Android power management Mike Chan, who came up with an ambitious ‘cloud first’ Android phone have started selling in India, their first product ‘Robin’. The name itself resonates uniqueness in an industry filled with alpha-numerical models, not just the name but the Nextbit Robin also has unique cool looks plus a new approach to deal with the phone’s storage.
The Nexbit Robit is priced at Rs 19,999 and would be available on Flipkart starting 30th of May. While the Smartphone looks inviting and is available in two color choices – mint and midnight, it opts for a soft-touch polycarbonate body which is departure from this year’s trend of metal bodied phones. But to its credit, the phone looks very appealing.
