LG Optimus G Pro is a bit late to the party but still got the right mix of internals to match the heavyweights like Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One and in phablet category pick up a fight with Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Launched in India for Rs. 42,500, Optimus G Pro features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution with a very healthy 400 pixels per inch.
The hardware internals are no laggards too with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2GB RAM. The internal storage include a 32 GB which can be enhanced to 64 GB with a microSD card.
A a 13-megapixel camera in the rear and a 2.1-megapixel camera in the front makes for the shooter which is comparable to the top rung handsets in the market. Notably the camera features a dual camera recording mode similar to what Samsung introduced in Galaxy S4. a 360 degree panorama mode also finds place.
Measuring 9.4 mm in thickness LG Optimus G Pro almost similar to HTC One but pales before Galaxy S4. A massive 3,140 mAh battery is assuring.
Running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and topped with LG’s own Optimus UI and features custom apps like multi-view windowed multitasking mode, a QTranslate app etc.
