Keep the battery juice overflowing with the newly launched Lava Iris Fuel 60, a new addition to the Fuel series of Lava, one of the top home-grown Indian mobile company. The highlight of the new smartphone is the 4000mAh battery which the company claims would give 32 hours of talktime on 2G .
The Iris Fuel 60 is the second Smartphone in the series, the first one being the Iris 50. On the technical side, Lava says the phone uses a ‘solder-less’ technology where it uses connectors to connect each components with the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) making it easy for the technicians to fix any faults as well as less chance of manufacturing defects.
The dual-SIM Fuel 60 features a 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, it is powered by a 1.3GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with an microSD card support. The camera specs include 10-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front shooter. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and the company says it will rollout Lollipop update as well. Some of the software features include Tap to Wake up and Drawing Gestures shortcuts.
The Iris Fuel 60 is pitted directly against the likes of the Gionee M3, and the Micromax Canvas Power, both the models at similar price point and battery sizes bigger than 4000mAh.
