Desis go 4G. With LTE rollout gaining momentum, it makes sense to better buy an 4G phone and be future proof even if you are not immediately switching to 4G connection. India’s third top selling brand, Intex Technologies, today announced their first 4G handset, the Aqua 4G+ and it goes on sale from Friday. Here is a quick look at the specs of the phone. Featuring a 5-inch display with a 720 pixel resolution and with Dragontrail Glass Hybrid protection, the Aqua 4G+ runs on Android Lollipop out of the box. It’s powered by MediaTek’s 6735 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and gets 16GB of internal storage with an option for microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB. A 2300 mAh battery fires the device. At 136.5grams, the Aqua 4g+ is also light in weight. Incidentally, Micromax also launched Canvas Knight 2, its first 4G handset day before and with Intex Aqua 4G+, the 4G market is booming. Intex Aqua 4G+ of course has to fight out stiff competition from the likes of Yu Yuphoria, Lenovo A7000, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Honor 4X. ]]>
