Back in February 20, HTC unveiled its flagship device HTC One and today the company launched the premium device in the Indian market at a MOP price of Rs. 42,900.
HTC One features a 4.7 inch display, 1080 pixel Super LCD 3 display with an eye-popping 468 dpi and protected by Gorilla Glass 2. An aluminum uni-body wraps the premium device and is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 600, clocked here at 1.7GHz and paired with 2GB RAM and flavored by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a brand new HTC Sense 5 UI overlay.
Interestingly, HTC One features stereo speakers, each with a dedicated proprietary amp design that minimizes distortion and maximizes volume.
The camera gets a curious treatment. The main rear camera features a 4 MP camera, which might shock many people who are used to higher mega pixels in the recent premium smartphones. But HTC promises it’s ‘Ultra Pixel’ technology would deliver better results than the higher pixel cameras. On the front, it has a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording 1080p video on the top right.
HTC One in India comes with 32GB of non-expandable storage. The company did not disclose if and when the 64 GB model available in many other market would hit the shelves here.
HTC One promises exciting features like Blinkfeed, Zoe share etc.
HTC One weighs 143 grams and measures 5.4 (137.4mm) x 2.7 (68.2mm) x 0.37 (9.3mm) inches.
