Gionee S Plus with USB Type C launched in India at Rs 16,999

As far as the specifications goes , Gionee S Plus  features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI layered over. In the camera department, it is equipped with a a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It also features a 3,150mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. Mr. Timir Baran Acharyya, GM, Gionee India said,

“In today’s fast paced time, the consumer needs and desires are evolving and they don’t want to compromise on the looks nor the specs of the device. Hence to bridge in the gap, we have introduced the all new S Plus especially in India this Diwali to meet all the expectations that our consumers are asking for. In fact, the all new S Plus is equipped with new features like Face Unlock that would help consumers unlock there device in less than a second”.
