Gionee Launches its first Made in India Phone in Vishakhapatnam

Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu who is actively wooing investors into his state. Gionee has sold over 7million devices in India and is looking at doubling the sales in 2015-16 with inventory rolling out from the Indian manufacturing facility. Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh said “With the current interest levels, I am hopeful that Andhra Pradesh will be producing 6-7 million phones per month by the end of next year.  With our strategic location, best-in-class policies, conducive business environment and robust skill base, my Government is committed to building a robust electronic manufacturing ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.” Stressing on the importance of the India as a manufacturing hub, Mr. William Lu, President Gionee said, “We are very excited to have begun our India manufacturing. We would be working towards making India manufacturing a hub for not only India, but nearby countries too”

Gionee F103 Specs

The dual-SIM 4G enabled F103 features a 5-inch IPS display with a 720p resolution, with Dragontrail protection. It’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 layered on top of it.  It’s backed by a 2400mAb battery.
