Corsair has announced that the acquisition of UK-based Simple Audio founded in 2008 with an aim “to create a new high-definition sound system that would open up the world of digital music for everyone”. Fresh after the acquisition of the young company, Corsair today launched the Simple Audio GO Compact portable speaker in India for Rs 6,999. A compact, portable wireless speaker, GO Compact works on Bluetooth 3.0 technology and it is compatible with iOS or Android-based smartphones and tablets. The speaker includes a separate bass reinforcing driver and two stereo speakers. With a built-in microphone and echo-cancelling technology, it also can act as a hands-free speakerphone.
