BenQ has launched the Creative Pro PV3250U in India, a 31.5-inch 4K monitor aimed at colourists and video editors, priced at Rs 1,48,998 against an MRP of Rs 1,99,000. The launch, announced at Broadcast India 2026 in Mumbai, opens BenQ’s PV50 series in the country, with a 27-inch PV2750U to follow.

The PV3250U is built around colour accuracy in dark scenes, where grading mistakes are hardest to spot. It offers a 3000:1 native contrast ratio, gamma 2.4 tuning, 99 percent DCI-P3 and 100 percent Rec.709 coverage, and a stated Delta E of 1 or less. Factory calibration is validated with extra dark-tone patches, and a 16-bit 3D LUT handles hardware calibration inside the monitor itself, so the correction stays with the display rather than the computer.

Three inspection tools stand out: Shadow Check temporarily lifts dark areas to reveal detail before returning to the calibrated view, Marker adds aspect-ratio and cropping guides, and Area Zoom magnifies part of the frame. None of them alters the source footage.

The panel refreshes at 120Hz and supports HDR10 and HLG with VESA DisplayHDR 600. A Thunderbolt 4 port carries video, data and up to 96W of power over one cable. BenQ also includes a magnetic shading hood, a Wireless Hotkey Puck G4 and an ESS DAC that can drive headphones up to 300 ohms.

The PV3250U is available this month at Rs 1,48,998.

Oura’s Ring 5 is now available for pre-order in India, starting at Rs 39,900. The smart ring went up for pre-order on October 22 through Amazon and Croma, in sizes 6 to 13.

For readers new to the category: the Oura Ring is a smart ring, a health tracker shaped like an ordinary ring and worn on the index, middle or ring finger. Low-profile sensors on its inner surface read signals from the finger – Oura says the pulse signal there is up to 100 times stronger than at the wrist – and pass them to the Oura app, which turns the readings into daily scores and trends covering sleep, activity, stress and recovery. It is built for passive, round-the-clock tracking, through workouts, swims and sleep. Oura presents these as wellness insights rather than medical measurements, and the full set of insights requires the paid Oura Membership.

The Ring 5 is 40 percent smaller than the Oura Ring 4, with a titanium build and lower-profile sensors. Oura says a new signal architecture with upgraded LEDs and 12 signal pathways improves accuracy across different finger shapes and skin tones. The ring tracks more than 50 health metrics across sleep, activity, stress, readiness and recovery, and carries an IP68 rating with water resistance up to 100 metres.

New software features include Health Radar, which watches biometric trends and currently covers blood pressure signals and nighttime breathing; GLP-1 Insights for users on GLP-1 medications; and Menopause Insights. Oura says these are wellness features, not medical measurements.

Battery life is a stated strength: Oura claims up to a week on a charge, with the company’s own launch material specifying six to nine days depending on ring size and usage.

The Silver and Black finishes cost Rs 39,900, while Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver are priced at Rs 50,900. Full health insights need an Oura Membership at Rs 599 a month, with the first month bundled for new buyers; without it, the app offers only limited functionality.

Hisense has brought its RGB MiniLED television range to Indian retail, showcasing the flagship UX series and the UR8S series at Kohinoor Televideo in Mumbai on October 22. The UR8S series starts at Rs 1,19,990, while the UX flagships run from Rs 9,99,999 to Rs 29,99,999.

RGB MiniLED replaces the usual white backlight with separately controlled red, green and blue LEDs, which Hisense says allows more precise colour and contrast. The company was the first to mass-produce TVs using the technology.

The UR8S series is the one most buyers will see first. Available in 55, 65 and 75-inch sizes, it offers a native 180Hz refresh rate, an anti-reflection panel and a 2.1.2-channel sound system, with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode support. The 55-inch variant is priced from Rs 1,19,990; Hisense has announced availability through Reliance Digital, Amazon and Flipkart.

The UX series sits at the top, in 100 and 116-inch sizes priced between Rs 9,99,999 and Rs 29,99,999, according to the company. It pairs the Hi-View AI Engine X with a 6.2.2-channel CineStage X sound system co-engineered with Devialet, Pantone-validated colour and a 165Hz game mode with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

Both series run Hisense’s VIDAA smart TV platform. The company is also running bundle offers at the Kohinoor store until October 31, including a free smaller TV with the flagship models.
