Positioned on a mid-range segment, Q5 features a QWERTY keypad true to the traditional Blackberry style and a 3.1 inch LCD display with a 720 x 720 pixels resolution translating to a decent 328 pixel per inch. The hardware internals include a 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage.
The imaging department of Q5 comprises of a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-shooter.
Available in Black, Pure White and Pure Red color models Blackberry Q5 seems like the best bet for the company to rebuild it’s sagging fortunes. The two previous models on B10 platforms, Blackberry Z10 and Blackberry Q10 drew flak for their pricing and struggles to gain traction.
We will keep you updated if Q5 can change the market wind for the beleaguered company facing tough competition.
