Acer releases Liquid E1 and Liquid Z2 smartphones

acer-liquid-e1-2-pic Liquid E1 is the big brother of the two featuring a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with a 960 x 540 resolutions and a Dual Core 1GHz processor with a 1 GB RAM. It will be available both in single SIM and dual SIM variants. Marketed as a multimedia-friendly handset, Liquid E1 boasts of dual speakers with DTS Sound, plus “Float” feature,  Float Caller notification. When you are on full screen either watching videos or using apps, it prevents the incoming calls or messages from taking over the full screen instead you get a floating notification popping out to notify you. Liquid E1 sports a dual camera, a 5 MP camera in the front with autofocus and LED flash with and zero shutter lag and burst modes. A VGA camera fits into the front. It has an internal storage of 4 GB plus an microSD slot. Packed in is a 1760 mAh battery. The Liquid Z2 is comparatively smaller with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen with a 480×320 pixels resolutions. At best an entry-level handset, it is powered by a dual-core 1GHz CPU with a 512 RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Like the E1, this phone is also available in choice of single or dual SIM variants. Additionally, you also get a choice of 3-megapixel or 5-MP camera. It features an intuitive Acer touch for Android that the company claims would be easy for the first-time android users. The battery is a 1300 mAh one. Both the phones will be initially available in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Ukraine followed by Russia, UK and Italy.
