News channel, NDTV claims it got some source information that Acer’s low cost tablet, Iconia B1 would hit the Indian shores in the end of January and hold your breathe for the price of Rs. 7,999. If the source is true, this is a much better pricing than the Nexus 7 pricing for India that was released here a month ago.
If we are looking at a January end launch in India, Acer should be unveiling the product in CES event in Las Vegas next week. We will keep you updated on the developments.
Though there is no official words on the specs of the tablets. It is touted to be a 7″ screen with 1024×600 resolution and powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor alongside 512MB RAM. In all probability, the tablet would be running on Jellybean Android OS. It is also rumoured to get a 8 GB internal memory with an expandable memory slot.
