Samsung adds a Plus to its Galaxy S2, Launches Galaxy S2 Plus

GALAXY S II Plus Product Image (1) Ironically only plus from the original S2 model seems to be Android  4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS update. So out of box, Galaxy S2 Plus brings the awesomeness of Jelly Bean along with now standard features of mid range to premium galaxies features like Direct Call, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Pop Up Video, S Voice etc. On hardware side Galaxy S2 Plus is no different from the SII. So we have a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM. The shooter is made of a 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. It also has features like Buddy Share, Group face tag etc that we have seen in S3 and some of the subsequent models. I would rather call it a minus, since Galaxy S2 Plus comes with a 8 GB internal storage where as the S2 packed in a 16 GB to begin with. Galaxy SII Plus is available in white and black colors.
