Oppo N3 is the Ultimate Selfie Smartphone, boasts of 16MP Swivel camera

While most Smartphone makers these days include a 5-megapixel front camera and call it ‘selfie phones’, Oppo laughs at them with their swivel camera that makes Selfie a serious indulgence. Replacing the last year’s N1 is the Oppo N3 (hey Oppo, you skipped N2?!) which features a 16MP swivel camera with a 206-degree orientation and with bagfull of tricks to make good use of it. Priced at $649 (Rs 39,400 approximately). Oppo has said that it will be launched in 20 countries before the end of this year and we might see it in India in December. First let’s go ga-ga over the swivel camera which is the highlight of the phone.  The camera module gets a motorized Schneider Kreuznach lens and uses Omnivision sensor and as mentioned earlier it can rotate 206 degree so making it as the front camera as well. The new camera app in Oppo N3 part of it’s Color OS 2.0 UI has an auto Panorama mode making good use of the motorized camera module, which takes an vertical panaroma shot of you while you hold the phone still. When you touch the fingerprint sensor at the back while clicking photos, the camera will automatically swivel. Cool ain’t it?! Other camera features include ‘HD Picture’ which captures 64-megapixel images using the camera’s Pi2.0 plus imaging technology, ‘Slow Shutter’,  ‘Super Macro’, ‘Professional’ amongst others. Specs-wise, Oppo N3 is a gladiator worth a bet featuring a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. A finger-print sensor also finds its way to unlock the phone with your finger prints and also for moving the swivel camera around by touching it.  It’s a dual-SIM phone (MicroSIM and a Nano SIM) with LTE capabilities and also supports NFC. A 3000mAh battery finds place and it includes VOOC rapid charging which means you can hit zero to 75 percent in just 30 minutes. There is an option for a expandable memory slot but it takes the place of the nanoSIM slot. Oppo has also launched O-Click 2.0, which is essentially a remote control to click photos, pick up calls or control your music playback. Weighing 192g, the Oppo N3 also has a solid build quality like the rest of its devices and is clad in aluminum frame and plastic coating. http://youtu.be/1XdSpg1p1CQ]]>
