Motorola Moto 360 Sport launched in India at Rs 19,999

Back in December last year, Motorola launched the Moto 360 in India at price starting at Rs 19,999 and available in leather and metal variants. Four months down the lane, they have launched the Moto 360 Sport and surprisingly this model is also priced at Rs 19,999. Key differences between Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sports. The sport version features a rubber body with silicone straps. It also includes a built-in GPS to track the distance you ran as well as the route and thus you can shun your phone and use it for location tracking while running / jogging or other activities. Plus on the display side, it has what Motorola calls “AnyLight Hybrid Display” which works as normal LCD indoors and outdoors uses ambient light to illuminate itself. Aimed at athletes and fitness enthusiasts, the Moto 360 Sport is water and dust resistant with IP67 certification. The company says the watch includes side ventilation channels that help one stay cool. Apart from built-in GPS, other sensors include gyroscope, accelerometer, altimeter and also features a heart-rate sensor to monitor physical exertion. The Moto 360 has a 1.37-inch display with 360 x 325 pixels resolution stacking 263 pixels per inch. The display is strengthened by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The internals are powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. There is a 4GB of internal storage and a 300mAh battery that Motorola claims offers a good full day. The Moto 360 Sport supports wireless charging with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. On the software side, it runs on Android Wear and is compatible with devices running on Android 4.3 or higher and iOs 8.2 or higher. It’s interesting to note that the Moto 360 Sports got a US$ 100 cut in price in US just yesterday making it available at US$ 200 (Rs 13.280) https://youtu.be/FfdWudUjvp8    ]]>
